Lara Logan Press Club USA

Support Lara Logan in creating Press Club USA, whose purpose is to stand up for journalists and fill the gap left by traditional media institutions who have abandoned those they were meant to support. We will put principle above politics and fight for integrity in the media. Press Club USA will be a home for independent journalists where they can benefit from free legal advice and apply for media accreditation that is critical in protecting them from targeted political persecution.

We will also recognize the work of great journalists with an annual awards ceremony and film festival, providing a much-needed venue for independent journalists to get the recognition they deserve and reach a wider audience.

Additionally, Press Club USA will establish the highly popular tourist town of Fredericksburg, Texas, situated in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, as the center of this movement to put the media back in the hands of the people. It will be run as a private supper club where journalists can meet, break bread and support each other, engage with contacts, investors and fans or if they choose, showcase their work.

Press Club USA will provide a studio to members for their use and will also have memberships for the public, as well as affiliate memberships for musicians, artists and creators.
