Kuwait also reported intercepting Iranian drones and missiles, highlighting the regional spillover.

While the U.S. maintains naval presence and energy independence reduces its vulnerability to disruptions, prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz carries economic costs for global partners in Europe and Asia reliant on Middle Eastern oil and LNG routes. Both sides continue indirect talks on nuclear issues, missiles, and reopening the waterway, but repeated strikes risk undermining ceasefire efforts.
